FAQ
16 questions. Plain answers.
If your question isn't here, the 20-min call covers it. Every question below comes from real owner conversations across the voice receptionist, missed-call SMS recovery, and website builds — not a marketing brainstorm.
Missed-Call SMS Recovery
30-day satisfaction guarantee inside the 12-month term. If the first 30 days don't pull more revenue than the monthly fee, I refund the first month's fee and release you from the remaining term. The setup fee is non-refundable — it covers compliance, number provisioning, and question script tuning. No clawback questions, no "cancellation fee" ambush. The point is that you decide on real numbers, not a sales pitch.
Your callers' phone numbers and message contents are processed by the SMS carrier, the booking step (your calendar), and your own email inbox. Nothing is sold to third parties. Nothing is shared for marketing. Nothing trains a public AI model. Retention: caller messages are kept for 90 days for the weekly report and then purged. Full processor list is on the Privacy page.
GoHighLevel is a platform you rent for $97 to $497 a month and learn yourself. This is the customized product: I do the setup, the compliance, the question-script tuned to your trade, the calendar wiring, the weekly reporting, and the ongoing tuning when responses drift. You don't log into a dashboard — the monthly email is the reporting layer. Would you rather learn technology from scratch and DIY, or focus on generating revenue for your business and have a system that just works?
Under 60 seconds, every time. The webhook triggers the moment your phone hits voicemail — there's no batching, no queue, no "send within 5 minutes" cron. A typical caller sees the text before they've hung up the second redial. The 60-second SLA is in the contract; if it ever drifts above, the issue is on me to fix on my dime.
The system has a profanity and spam filter on the inbound side. Anything matching the filter never reaches your phone — it gets logged in the monthly report as filtered, and that's it. For ambiguous cases (a frustrated but legitimate caller, for example), the system pings you with the transcript and you decide whether to engage. The default posture is: you stay in control of every borderline case.
No app. No browser extension. No login. We forward your missed calls into the SMS system using your existing phone number; your calendar integration handles the booking step on a public link; the monthly report lands in your existing email inbox. The only thing that changes on your phone is that missed calls start turning into booked appointments instead of voicemail callbacks.
The default handoff is email + calendar — most owner-operators don't run a CRM, and the email handoff is good enough for the productized scope. If you do run one (Jobber, ServiceTitan, HubSpot, Pipedrive), I can wire a Zapier or webhook handoff per-customer as part of the setup. It's a custom add-on because the complexity of CRM APIs and the variability of customer data models means I have to quote it case-by-case. If you want to DIY it later, the system can send the same email handoff to a custom email address that Zapier or your CRM can parse.
AI Voice Receptionist
It's a natural human-sounding voice on Retell + ElevenLabs. The best way to hear it is to book a 20-minute discovery call — we'll dial our live demo agent together so you experience it on your own phone, in your context.
Bilingual fr-CA is a paid add-on — every shop ships compliant under Quebec Bill 96 and Law 25. I build a French-language sandbox before your second discovery call so you hear how it sounds in your context. ElevenLabs fr-CA voices, recording disclosure in French, no autodial (CRTC ADAD compliant).
Website Design
Then you're on the Custom track. The productized package is sized for the shops where the home, services, about, contact, and one trade-detail page is the whole site. If you need a separate page per service line, a CMS, or e-commerce, that's custom — and the scoping call dials it in.
No — copywriting is on the EXCLUDED list of the productized package. You bring the words (your existing site, your About text, your service descriptions) and I'll lay them out. If you want fresh copy, that's a custom add-on quoted separately. Most owners already have the words — they just need them well-placed.
Custom track. The productized package uses static markdown — no CMS — because most small businesses don't have someone in-house to manage one and it adds hosting cost. If you do want a CMS (Sanity, Payload, Contentful), the custom track scopes it out and quotes accordingly. Plan on a custom quote depending on the complexity of the content model.
Day 1 is kickoff (60-min call, content collected, scope confirmed). Days 2 to 5 are mockups (one round of revisions). Days 6 to 10 are build. Days 11 to 12 are revisions on the live build. Days 13 to 14 are launch. If you respond inside 24 hours at every revision step, the timeline holds. If you don't, the timeline slips.
General
Greater Toronto Area. Ontario Master Business Licence registered under trade name DigiCatalyst Systems, BIN 1001585874, HST 779120153RT0001. Service area covers the GTA primarily; out-of-area work is taken case-by-case if it's fully remote and matches a productized scope.
Stripe. The setup fee charged the day you decide to buy our service; onboarding starts; monthly billing kicks off the day the system is live in your inbox; yearly billing is one upfront charge. Ontario HST is added on top (13%). Out-of-Ontario Canadian clients pay your provincial sales tax where applicable; US clients pay no Canadian tax. If you need a manual invoice for your accounting, I can do that on request. For bookkeeping purposes, the productized services are categorized as "Professional Services" and the AI receptionist is categorized as "Software Subscription".
Twelve-month fixed term on every product — website, missed-call SMS, voice receptionist — then month-to-month after, cancel anytime. No mid-year pro-rated refund inside the 12 months; the 30-day satisfaction guarantee on Missed-Call SMS Recovery is the only in-term exit. The relationship is governed by a Master Services Agreement (MSA), and each product you buy gets its own Statement of Work (SOW) defining deliverables, timeline, and acceptance criteria. The job is done when the SOW deliverables are met.
